 i was hoping to get shots of fly wings for this challenge (fly attatched) then wednesday i noticed a fly wiggling around on it's back on the floor by my desk at work, i left it alone but later on i noticed it had died there and so i brought it home and took a whole bunch of shots over the last few days. finally i thought would really like to take some shots of just the wings, as usual i was torn between this and another shot(i'll put in my profile after)but i chose this one. so no flies were intentionally harmed for this shot. thanks for checking it out.

haven't fully grasped my editing program yet so it's just croped, a little contrast and brightness adjustment and resize.

I like the idea, I think the wings get lost in the negative space a little though, just my opinion though.

Oh dear, I hope you didn't do that. Some color would have helped. Makes me feel icky. :-/

Unfortunatly the floor is quite distracting and the wings while nicely focused are just sitting there. Maybe something like a backlight could have created some extra interest and the distance between the wings and the background would help blur the background. GL
