 This is meaningful if you have ever lived with a die hard Red Sox fan. Many thanks to my roommate for the hat, glove, ball, and the beer. Especially the beer.

Shot with a white poster board background. Bounce flash from an SB-600 up and to the left off of a white wall. Custom white balance. Added contrast and sharpening.

I am more an AL West fan. But, I don't like the Yankees, therefore, I am close to being a Boston fan!

LOL, like your interpretation. Colors are pretty dull though, and the crop is very thight. (5)

Lol - yup - we all have different ideas of sacred. Though your image isn't all that sacred to this quasi Yankee fan :-), it is well composed and a nice photo.
