 Hummingbird taken against a cloudy sky, the lighting was to low to get a stop action shot but the white sky made for an interesting background. I did very little editing to this image, I cropped it, adjusted the contrast and levels and did a slight sharpen, resized and entered it. Not expecting a lot, really wish I could have gotten more wing for this challenge.

This little guy only stayed around long enough for this one shot and one parting shot of part of his tail, these buggers are fast. I stayed around a while hoping to get him to come back but as soon as he would see me he would leave so I gave up...lol

A really well caught shot but I would guess you have changed the background which makes the bird almost seem like a cardboard cutout. There's a kind of purple edge all the way round the bird. I would also like to have seen more colour saturation on his feathers.

I would have liked any thing but a white back ground here, the bird is captured beautifully but it does not stand out enough. Sorry.

great shot, is the 'pastel' effect intentional? I would of used more contrast to make the bird really POP. try using the droplet tools in photoshop's 'curves'. still a very good shot and gets an 8 from me well done
