| Honestly, this doesn't appeal to me. The focus seems to be on the wick and the lighting there looks more interesting than on the rest of the candle, but it's too small a part of the overall image to really see any detail. The candle itself is neither reflective nor of varying density so the light doesn't play off of it or shine through it in interesting ways to me. |

| Very interesting shot, especially since I haven't seen the candle before. Great backlighting. I love how it trails off to darkness on the left hand side. |

| Definitely fits the challenge although as a subject it doesn't have a strong appeal to me. |
