I'm not sure the subject is backlit. From the viewers perspective, the subject is being lit from the front (even though we're looking at their back). |

tehehe, people playing around with their own shadows are sometimes funny to watch, yes...;)
i like the comp and b&w tones, i'm not sure about the backlit part of the challenge description, though...a 6 |

This is a stretch for the challenge. I guess technically this is back light (as long as you don't read the description too close...) Overall, this is an interesting shot. The lack of bright color leaves it a bit bland, but the texture of the rock wall, the green on the wall, and the HUGE shadow make it a "2nd look" picture. |

Not sure if this is back lighting or shadows. I think the light has to be towards the camera. |

Nice image - Like the composition but it's not backlit is it! It's front lit - But I can see where you are going with your irony and play on words! |
