Well...3 things here Noise, Noise and more Noise. It doesn't help that there is impurities in the water to help magnify the noise. It really creates a distracting picture. You had the right idea don't get me wrong. Composition puts the bird in the strong middle of the shot. Tough to do unless there is something strong enough to place it dead center. The lighting is too harsh and caused blown highlites. You could have panned back a bit and cought the reflection of the bird and maybe had something. Sorry this shot doesn't do much for me. Keep trying though I've seen your other work and your very good. I was wondering why you didn't go for BW with this shot??? It would have done much better.

the feathers on the bird appear to be blown from the light. But is a nice shot.

I like the timing of this shot because I find that one rear foot and splash of water intriguing, though I know it's not meant to be the focal point here. I guess I'm more used to all the paddling being below the surface; I like seeing more of the propellor action.

The whites look a little blown out on my monitor.

Good shot. I think if there was a little more breathing room on the left, this would be a stonger shot.

good shot but it looks a bit noisey.

A bit too noisy for my taste, looks like you underexposed the shot and then brought it back in post processing type noise.

Nice image - Nice and simple - Maybe a little too much so. Could maybe do with some of the grain being reduced because they are very noticeable.
