You got some nice detail in the texture of the dried paint. I like the drop cloths too. The colors work well together. I wish there were more of an angle here - seeing into the can more, or having more of a diagonal composition.

Well the background looks arty!! Wouldn't hang it on my wall though.

I guess the background could be a pair of old drapes/curtains or something, but it looks too 'glamorous' a setting for an old stained paint can. The lighting is good, the can is nicely sharp and clear, and I like the texture of the backdrop.

I like the backdrop and how it appears to have been almost 'white-washed' under the paint can.

I wouldn't dare put that old paint can on what looks like some fine material. But I like this shot regardless. It's a bit more contrast than I'm used to.

This is kind of cool. I like that the background is actually an important part of the image. I can almost smell the paint, and the focus is so good the can really pops. considering the subject matter, you've done a good job with a really (let's face it) non-compelling subject! 8...

nice idea and detail, but not sure if i care for the horizontal composition here.. not sure what it is exactly, just giving my two cents.

The velvet draping is very well done. It would have been fun to see some paint "ooze" out on it!

it just captures me, the simplicity is beautiful and the background makes it seem like the paint can and stir stick are at a photoshoot or in an artist's studio or just a room that is being remodeled, which leaves an element of mystery. Also the detail is vivid with good colors.

this is good, I like it. Would only suggest a non-shine material to reduce the glare.
