Not bad considering I don't have a bloody garage! ~ Tsk

My first effort at lighting so more and personal experiment rather than a winning shot. Used 2 office lamps with homemade diffusers created from baking paper.

Ps: Going for a subliminal title here, wonder if it will work - hehe

I think this was intersting work, especially for a first-time effort at 'studio' lighting Jon. I'd have filled it from the right a touch more, and probably have lost the rear-most pot, which was just over-egging the pudding a touch for my own taste. Gave it a 6 at the time though, but never commented.

Great shot..I really like it. Nicely proportioned good tones and a nice feel. I like the colors but I wonder how much more it would have stood out with a more vibrant flower..a purple or red one. Terrific shot though. 8

Nice composition. I like the use of light and shadow. The flowers are really beautiful.

Would be better without the shadows. Also crop a little more off the right.

Nice, almost too composed.

some areas too dark

This is very nice. Personally, a little bit less shadow would have appealed to me, but "art" is very subjective. I think I also would have chosen a different borde, or no border. That being said, I do like the composition and the subject and I think it fits the challenge.

Needs a couple of reflectors to help balance out the light. One on the right and one to the front.

Excellent. Gardening it is a passion of mine too. But I give this photo a 10 just because it is so wonderful as a photo. I just love the soft lights on the flowers. The shadows are not harsh but soft also. Just perfect.

Nice mood to this shot. I'll be your a good gardener. You lighting is a little hot in a few areas, but over all this is a nice looking shot.
