Nice shot. Like the sepia tone and just enough detail in the guys |

You shouldn't have to explain the photo. |

Haha, nice interpretation of the challenge, I like that. |

You had to have a rather laboured title to prove this is within the scope of the challenge. Pity, because it is a nice picture. |

This photo should score very high. It has very good composition making it an interesting shot. Very funny title...well maybe a little corny...but hey, I laughed. |

Those are some long poles! Nice composition of the fisherman and the horizon line. The pole leaving the frame kind of distracts but there might not been anything you could do about that with as long as it is. Nicely done! |

Pretty shot, though very much a shoehorn. I wish both poles stayed within the frame. |

Great light and composition...a very nice photo. This meets the challenge title, but not the description, so I 'm sure you're feeling the brunt of some low votes. Nothing wrong with stretching the challenge topic as long you're prepared accept the votes of the hardliners. |

I don't think it's exactly what "working without net" is meaning. |

Nice capture - Like the tones and composition but wish the poles were not cropped - Love the ships in the background which add depth but moving slightly would have helped get rid of the boat cruising through the men's bodies which is really distracting |

Is fishing with a pole risky?
I like the colors and the contrast. |

Man are those poles long! Great image with the lines of the poles giving a bit of drama. I already got it that fishing with poles is different than fishing with a net. I fear many will reduce the score because of the title. After a small internal struggle, I concluded that your originality on the positive side makes up for the title on the negative side, at least well enough to not mark this down from an 8. |

Great photograph and composition. I think this would do very well if it weren't so over-processed. |

Great soft pastel colours. Nice composition and I like the addition of the horizon shipping. 8 |
