This would be a much better picture on a different day. Lets just pick a day like June 30th. Sky is utterly depressing as I live in Michigan and I know all about this crappy sky business. Looks like it could be an interesting picture, just not when you took it.

very nice, a little dull looking but I guess you cannot be blamed for the weather

Composition is interesting with the perspective and the symmentry of the bridges. This shot may do better if done in b&w (monotoned) to make the subjects pop out of the shot even more. Dull skies would definitely work better that way.

Compositionally I find this kind of obvious - sure it's an interesting scene, architecturally, and I actively like the irregularity of the lamp-posts, but such a grey day, such very very flat light has wiped out any real interest, visually, from this. Had it been my own shot, I'd either have tried to go back another day, or probably not submitted it. I think it's lacking in mood, is what I'm trying to express.

Is this near Niagra Falls? It looks familiar.
I realize it is a grey day, but it could be a bit brighter... exposure?
nice leading lines.

A nice shot here, may be a little dull though. Might have looked better if they sky was clearer etc.

Nice DOF, took a while to realise it was water in between... 8

Good concept for the challenge. Entry has good detail and sharp focus. However, I would like to see more contrast and if the image was more symmetrical I would rate it higher.

Nicely arranged graphics here. 2 problems, the overall greyness - couldn't you have waited for a nicer day? the dullness of the sky depresses the shot, cropping was in order. 5

nice interpretation. would be a more powerful shot on a day with a more interesting sky.
