I like the two other kids, clouds, sense of height, the kid's pose who has "lost it", but the garish tone of the partial desat dosn't work for me. Not hurting your score from me though. |

This is a great shot. I love the selective desaturation. The clarity looks pretty good, and I think you managed to get him at just the ride stage in his kickflip for a great action shot. |

Overall a good photo! However, this seems to have been selectively colorized? |

The photo has a kind of fun and vintage/retro-like feel in straight b&w...the selective desaturation, especially with that harsh red, really takes away from those "simpler days" qualities. |

cool action shot and well composed. I do feel the selective desauturation distracts from the main subject in the photo. |

This is a very interesting shot. My first impression was not great, but it's growing on me; the kids in the BG are great; a really good sense of setting with a clean background. I'm mixed on the selective desat - part of me loves it. |

You may have done more than basic editing here. I like the shot as an action shot - good capture and positioning. |

Emm... is this selective de-saturation? I thought this is a basic Editing challenge? Anyway, I like the composition. |

Nice capture - Not a fan of selective colour but it does work here - Guys in the back nicely framed - Great shot well done. |

The selective colour did make an impact on my first glance. It was irritating on every subsequent glance. Could have been a good photo. |

Nice capture. I'm not sure if the selective desat works. I think B&W to be better for this shot. |

Nice selective desaturation. Not sure if you wanted the back to be OOF. |

Very nice. I think this works very well as a blander look, with the red. And not having the contrast boosted up too much. |
