I thought you were gonna be in the top ten! Well, this is how DPC is. But its a great photo, personally one of the best in this challenge.

This would be a great shot, with a better focus I think.
Maybe making the chopsticks more in focus, and the bowl and rice less.
That's just what I was thinking though. |

| Great POV, lighting, focus and detail. The DOF works well with the chopsitcks. My faults with this are the shadows at the top and the dark spot in the lower left. If those were not in the picture I'd rate this very high. |

| I like this shot very much. Love the angle & composition. I would have scored it higher had the table been the whole of the BG & the little fuzzy thingy to the lower left & glare to the middle left not been a bit distracting. 8 |

| It's amazing how many cultures eat rice...and or rice/beans. I like your shot for the simplicity. The light and tones suit this shot. I don't care for the seperation of the table/floor/wall. Anyway thats small and just my opinion. Good luck in the challenge. |

| The background in top left is destracting - good idea - something in the composition is not working - maybe a tighter crop. |

| Some great opposing diagonals here which really complement the circle of the bowl. |
