Usually I think of filling the frame as the subject taking up the whole frame with little or no background showing. You have found a unique way filling the frame and yet letting background into the photo as well. Nicely done! 8

Rules state: "Compose your photograph so that nothing but your subject is in the frame." IMO there is too much b.g. to meet letter of rules. Very nice photo otherwise. 7

Nice stop action. The square crop certainly allows for more detail to be shown but I think a landscape orientation would have given this much more balance and a tinge more energy, IMO.
