The B&W aspect really makes the textures on the petals of this closed blossom really stand out. One can almost reach out and visually touch the softness of the closed petals. The flower really stands out from the black background not to mention the calls the eye's attention to the single waterdrop delicately hanging, ready to fall. This is a very minimalistic, clean and elegantly presented capture.

beautiful shot, love almost all of it: the drop, the toning, the not-black but totally even background, the lighting. only the focus is slighttly displaced
