This was a gift to my friends for thier first pregnancy. I tried adding some of my own light to the scene via a shoot through umbrella but I found that the natural light was far more apealling. I also chose to convert to B&W because the sky was an overcast grey and I felt that was distracting in the color version

Bad lighting, "meh" expression and almost too depressed to fit the title.

Maybe a little bounce light showing off her "love bump" might make this better...but I like it just the same!! (8)

best photo i have seen. truely amazing. the sunlight shinning through the window on to them in the darkness is beautiful. maybe make it less shadowy so people can see the man, but other wise GREAT

I feel the backlight is a little too distracting

Some fill lighting would have been wonderful. I do conceive what you are portraying.

The background does nothing for this image and It's hard to see the subject (abdomen).

Good subject, it would be nice to have the subject a little lighter

This seems to be stretching the definition of power too much.

If you have a reflector I think it may have helped to put alittle fill light on the subjects. Although I like it the way it is too.
