 Taken in my inlaws rose garden. Im sure this picture won't do well in an Expert Editing free study challenge, but I like it none the less.

Cropped, sharpened, made the rose more rosey, and the leaves greener, cloned out some wilting parts of the flower, some half eaten leaves, and a pole that was on the right side of the picture. Added border, resized, and saved for web.

A rose, hmm and I hate to say it, but it's beauty has escaped it. It's oversaturated and too bright, which kills the tonal range and the detail.

I like the definitions of the petals. The red border spoils it in this case, though.
