 taken at Beavertail State Park. used a ND grad and sunset filter, as well as a polarizer.

pp - converted RAW in CS3, making adjustments to bring out detail in shadow areas. layers for levels, curves. soft light layer to lighten up rocks. channel mixer layer to boost saturation. clone out a couple of little puddles on the rock that were distracting, and a little buoy along the horizon. a little blur to the sky, and various doses of USM and smart sharpen on a layer mask. copied on another layer of itself to adjust amount of sharpening on rocks. final softlight layer to liven up the foreground a little. shadow/highlight on rocks, and another boost of color to the sky with hue/sat
