What an excellent positive notion and a very interesting find. The range of colors on that leaf is quite amazing. Autumn is my favorite season. The crisp air, the colors. Another could look at it as, it getting colder, greyer weather and life getting ready for the harsh winter, which many don't look forward to. I like how purpleflutterby13 put it.

nice shot, but it looks more like a rotting leaf than a flower

great shot, though I had placed the leaf a tad more to the left. nice DOF, textures and colors that perfectly match the message. good choice of typeface, border and font color could be a bit brighter. the two dots before the second line are unnecessary (usually there are three dots, anyway)
