This shot kind of evolved. Started out just "hearts and fowers" Then I added the wine bottle...liked that a little better, then this morning I woke up and thought about adding the wine glasses. When I was adjusting colors and such, played with saturation levels and liked this result the best. We will see how it does.

Its difficult to critique this shot. Clarity and color are wonderful...so is the composition and lighting. Great shot. I love the uncovered peice of chocolate. Great shot. I also love the lighting off of the wine glasses. I just happened to scroll down and noticed a comment that someone made about getting rid of yourself in the picture....I did not see that.

Might want to edit yourself out of the photo :)

not sure I like the way this was arranged. The wine bottle on the extreme edge really throws the balance of the composition way off. There are also a lot of stray glares on the glasses that are pretty distracting. The idea is pretty good. I think you would gain a lot by just switching the position of the wine and the glasses.

good still life photo, i like the composition and the dark b/g. A warmer look might add mood and drama to it perhaps by way of a tungsten light source as opposed to daylight. It will also reduce the reflections on the glass surfaces. It's a great photo nonetheless.

I really like the rich black background contrasting with the glasses and the silverfoiled chocolates. I'm not sure the orange and dull yellow roses represent romance for me. Too many specular highlights in the glasses and bottle and foil.
