Caught this shot near the lakeshore last summer. I played with it to give it a surreal feeling in editing because it reminded me of Alfred Hitchcock's movie, "The Birds".

Fun processing; definitely evokes a Hitchcock-esque creepiness.

I like that inward facing cluster - gathering for the attack, maybe.

Was it raining? I like the processing, though I would have liked the right bird to be all the way in the shot. Still well done!

nice shot. I like the seagull going off the edge, gives it movement

You're absolutely right, it has the same eerie feeling as Hitchcock's The Birds and I think the reason is because they used similar closeup angled shots when filming to give the illusion of being attacked by the birds. The closeups also camouflaged the fact there weren't that many birds to begin with. But, you definitely captured that illusion. I also like the composition/design of your image and the line of clouds along the bottom to counter balance the birds and give the feeling of height/depth.

Very well done, Jamie!

The lens flare is in the way of your picture getting a 10 so I'll give it a 9 instead

Like the birds but the overall image is very grey and lacking brightness - The round flare type item at the top is distracting as too is the bird who's wing is out of the frame.
