 I took this picture on top of a mountain in Townsville, Australia. It's actually not dawn; it's more like 1am. The lighting of the clouds comes from the city lights down in the valley. The clouds were moving very fast and were low to the ground causing the blurred effect.

I like this picture because, as some of you commented, the small size of my friend seems to give the "dawn" much more grandeur.

Post processing included upping the brightness and saturation of the sky and cloning out a small bush next to my friend who did a wonderful job holding the pose for 60 seconds.

Phenomenal image - can't wait to find out how much of the genius was in finding the shot and how much in post processing!

I'll be a bit sad to find out the sky was from a separate shot!
