Critique Club feedback -
This is an excellent image of a knife. Unfortunately it pretty much completely misses the point of the challenge.
Great details on those water droplets. I hope to see your work in future challenges. |

| i'm going to give this 8, not because of it's bokeh effect (because even though there is some in the corners, it's not what i'd call a 'bokeh picture'), but more because it just looks really crisp and stunning. |

| nice sharpness. also liked the diagonal knife lines. the image would have more impact if the tip was in focus though. still 7 from me |

| I would think this is a better example of shallow depth of field than bokeh, but it's a nice, sharp (no pun intended) shot. |

| excellent macro - great details and wonderful clarity - but the background being black does not provide any bokeh to the image - IMO - shallow DOF does not necessarily equal bokeh |

| You know, this is a fantastic shot, and I have to wonder if you didn't mean to enter this in Power instead. I just can't see that slight blurry part over there being bokeh. If so, and you meant to enter this on, then it is too shoe-horned into this challenge. I'm going to skip voting on this and come back later. |
