Cookie Cutter Tool, Three Type Layers, Color Fill Layer, Rectangular Marquee, Magic Wand, Select Inverse, Merge Visible, Layer Via Copy, Layer Via Cut, Adjust Hue/Saturation, Eraser, Merge Down, USM, Resized, Saved for Web...I had great fun reading the Motivational Posters again at the Successories website as well as the Parody Motivation Posters at Despair.com. FUNNY!

After the Challenge:
Thank you for proving a truth that I am starting to know more intensely every day now!
As an individual on the high end of the Autism Spectrum, I don't "read faces" the same way NT's (Neuro-Typicals) do.
I see this young lady as having a very pleasant, happy face who has been caught in the act of saying the word, "Hi!"
O, Well! I suppose I must continue to "Live and Learn." :) |

Critique Club feedback -
Photo matches the message well - a happy face to reinforce a motivation to maintain a happy disposition.
Both the shot and the word happiness seem to be a little on the pinkish side. This impression is reinforced by the pink color of the quote itself. I think a bit of white balance adjustment on the photo would go a long way towards making this poster pop overall, and perhaps putting Happiness in a simple bright white would enhance the poster as well. |

Good idea but I would like to have seen a different expression to convey happiness. She looks more surprised than happy. |

She looks drugged on a horse tranquiliser rather than happy, otherwise I like the exposure on the face, and the message is great :) |
