 Near my house there is a small hot stream. In the cold weather that has been in Iceland these last days, the steam from the warm water freezes on the grass and trees around the stream. Great cristals and ice forms on them and it looks great. It looked a lot better with my own eyes...

Used basic editing rules, no cropping or levels. Only thing done was a bit of sharpness and the black simple frame, hope you like it. Shuehorning?

Outtakes: Frozen stuff around the hot stream

If you look closely in the upper left corner of the shot, you can see an icy hand that I find kind of "cool". Can't block it out of my mind after my girlfriend pointed it out to me... Can you see it?

Þú segir nokkuð, það skín ekki vel í gegn hvað er í gangi. Tók þessa mynd ekki fyrir þessa áskorun, svo það má segja að maður hafi "skójárnað" myndina hér inn. Takk fyrir kommentið.

Fín mynd en virðist greinilega ekki alveg hafa fallið í kramið. Menn virðast ekki alveg hafa komið auga á hvað sé heitt á myndinni enda er það ekki alveg augljóst. Water and ice eða eitthvað svoleiðis hefði kannski verið betri titill.

Well this didn't go well... I can understand the "where is the hot" comments, it's not obvious if you werent there. Actually the stream was a bit hot and the steam froze on the near by grass and plants.

this image is a tad chaotic - there is nothing drawing my eye in any controlled direction - i'm shifting all over the image with all the lines and breaks in space. in a way i find this interesting, but i still think it could have used a little more control.
