 I am still getting used to the fact that it is already September -- summer passed by so fast. Found this little leaf on my patio and liked how it contrasted with the texture of old bricks.

wow, i really enjoy this picture! the contrast of the simple, subtle leaf is so great against the grainy, hard, bluntness of the brick. Great work.

Great minds think alike! I shot a leaf today too for this side challenge called "Fall is in the air". I love your composition and the bright little leaf in the sea of black bricks. The texture and tone of those bricks is amazing....

I am so happy that the burning heat and humidity of summer is going to go away.

This is an excellent shot. Great tones, textures and composition. My eye wants the entire thing to be in focus though, so the oof area at the top sort of bothers me. Otherwise this is just an excellent piece of work.

nice composition and tones. Looks a tad soft in the upper third ... maybe you were shooting at a 45 degree angle to the ground?

Nice job! I really like the harsh geometric shapes of the bricks juxtaposing the tiny little, randomly shaped leaf. Great processing, too.
