 i like basic editing, feels like it put us all on a more even playing field, pretty simple here, cut a flower from the backyard and held it up while my girls posed for me:
unsharp mask
crop
bump up blues and yellows a bit
resize/save for web

I gotta say i just dont get it... I am sure everyone thinks their shot deserves a better score...Guess I didn't have those magical "circles of light" eh?

Oh man - this is just brilliant. You were totally robbed. For one the concept is fun and creative. The photo is beautiful with the colors and the lighting. What a shame this didn't score higher.

how strange .. i thought i'd commented on this before but i see i didnt .. obviously i'm going mad .. i love the brilliant colours ... blue and yellow make the most wonderful combination in an image .. i love how the flower is positioned relative to the faces .. i love how they remind me of flowers bathing in the sun .. brilliant jason ..
did you get that horoscope thingy ?? .. i was interested to hear wot you thought about it .. you are a complete slack arse !!!!!! :):)

you know, I thought this was a great idea and so different from the other bokeh in the challenge. It looked like one that had some meaning behind it. The only thing I would really liked to have seen different, is that all of the sunflower be in focus. I do love the concept!

OH I love the way all your subjects are "sun bathing!"

I really love your photo, if I was forced to say something critical, it would be that the bottom of the sunflower wasn't cropped off.
