This was taken prior to one of the high school games at Qwest Field on a sunny day in Seattle, a great football weather day. The players face was in shadow a bit even though the field turf reflected a fair amount of light onto his face under his helmet. I used shadows/highlights to bring his face up a bit. I like repetitive image the opposite facing player in the background gives even though he is facing the opposite direction.
