 Lots of things go together here. Hope people notice them. I also hope I don't get voted down because of the subject.
Steps in Photoshop
Crop
Resize
Clone out of small blemish on the toilet
Luminosity Blended layer added with unsharp mask applied
Color Blended layer added with Gaussian Blur of 3 pixels
Flatten Image
switch to grayscale
switch to duotone then used a preset Quadtone setup
Adjusted curves a bit
Also used the selection tool around and unsharp masked the Comics as well
I know most people including myself usually do unsharp mask last but the technique I used wouldn't allow me to create a Luminosity layer in grayscale mode. Still one of my favorite submissions to date.

Good composition, but seems slightly tilted right. Not a pretty subject to shoot but done with good taste and humor.

The most original and funniest idea in this challenge! The composition is also good but I wish the newspaper was in focus, too. Good job!

Hilarious! Although I normally read the comics at the table, to each his own, I say. :) Is it me or is the top of the tile tilted downward towards the lower right? The floor looks horizontal but the tile throws me off.

LOL. Overall, I really like this shot. Just the toe and the top of the paper being unsharp spoils it just a tad. Interesting camera angle and fine composition. 8
