Critique Club feedback -
Bug shots are hard to score well with simply from the large numbers of them and the bar being raised pretty high. I think were the spider in crisp focus here this would have done better. Also you could try cropping it differently to see if there is a way to compose the shot which would give it more impact.
Bokeh? I'm in the camp that bokeh is those little circles of light, but even going with the 'out of focus areas of the photo' definition - I think there's still a lot of detail in the background here that doesn't enhance your subject and sort of makes for a busy shot. |
