First thing I thought when I saw this was "Where's Waldo" and it looks like others thought the same thing. To me the focus is the beauty of everything around you. It is hard in my opinion to focus on just one thing when you photographing nature. Sometimes I just like looking at a photograh that has more than one thing to look at. Great tones. |

This shot has a strong dividing line just about dead center top to bottom. I think it would be stronger either as a cloud shot or river shot, and not try to include both. Try cropping it at the top of the 2nd highest clump of leaves on the tree at the right (river shot) or at the top of the highlighted tree left of center (cloud shot). Personally, I favor the river shot, because it includes just enough of the spectacular clouds without losing the great river/forest/child detail. |
Wow, I think that is the best critique I've gotten so far in this side challenge (well except for Router calling me Ansel!). Thank you so much David. |

I like the light play in the areas around Andrew as well. Maybe you could dodge the trees a bit for some highlights and move the line formed by tree tops to clouds a little more off center. |

Nice reflections, and those big puffy clouds are great. Well done. |

Nice contrast between the textures in the trees and the fluffy clouds in the sky. The addition of a person in this almost makes it feel like a "Wheres Wally (Waldo)" scene. |

The light has created a remarkable range of tones, and the clouds really add to the atmosphere, brooding over the tranquil landscape. Great shot! |
