Wasn't my lucky day today. Spend a couple of hours to make a photo I wanted to do, didn't like the end result. After dinner I broke a glass when putting another glass away. After cleaning up, I tried to make something out of it before throwing it away. Think I should follow routerguy666 approach and practice lightning. Think this is shot nr. 10

The textures of the broken glass edges are beautiful and work well with the black background. I especially like the right part of the glass and wonder how this would look in a close-up shot.

good sharp edges of the glass(punn intended). This works in b&w well.

Really nice shot, isn't breaking a glass a good omen? I might have liked a bit more light on the back edge of the glass to make it stand out from the background.

Wow. Bummer about the glass. Like the photo though.

I like the black background, it really adds a lot of interest. The broken edges add lots of nice textures and light surfaces. It's funny how something so simple can be made to look so good. nice job.

I wonder, looking at this, if it wouldn't be fun to do a 'broken glass' side-challenge? The broken edge takes the light nicely & you have to be careful w/the reflections on the glass. The thick glass near the stem is almost as much fun as a water-drop. This shot could lead the way--it's excellent!
