Portrait of Phoebe.

Taken in natural daylight under a white tent with a white reflector held by the model.

Thanks for your feedback.

Very nice. The face seems a bit bright. Not sure how, but would like to see your model's face with a bit more shadow for definition.

Of course you know that your shot is spot on technically. Good stuff!

She's pretty but it's more of a mug shot than a portrait. You have her square to the camera. Get her to sit at an angle (but don't have her point her shoulder at the camera) and then turn her face back towards the camera.

I also agree that the color balance is off a bit. I think your white tent was an off white and was causing a color cast. That should be fixable in Photoshop. If that is a white dress she has on, bring up the Levels palette, click on the right eye dropper and then click on the whitest part of her dress. You can try AutoColor also and see if that fixes it.

Wow, lovely exposure & great colors. I like her expression too. What I don't like is her pose, its so static and lifeless, I'm sure that isn't her personality. Also, the brown hair ribbon, white straps and red straps just clash. I would clone out the red and just go with brown & white to compliment the green of the bg. I think a tighter crop as well, removing most of the blouse and focusing on the face & that stunning bokeh & lighting would really make this image sing. I sure hope that helps.

Edit: Your reflector is a bit bright, you might tone that down a bit to better match the rest of the skintone. :)

I think it's got great clarity and lovely bokeh. It appears to me that there is too much of a yellow cast to the photo.

she's got an intense gaze ... nice portrait ... my only nitpick is the red bra strap ... my eye is drawn towards the brightness of it ...
