Will comment here later

Later is now we are back home.

So here is the scoop of this building. My work shop and with any luck it will also be my studio( if I can ever find the time for my own stuff ). I'm an electrician by trade and a carpenter etc the list goes on, and you know the old saying about the cobbler and his kids not having any shoes. I can't find the time to cut the grass let alone shingle my own roof install proper lighting and outlets and then finish off all the walls and,and,and....
We live in one of the oldest houses in our town and it was built circa 1885 and the shop was the last working barn in our town to be used. It is ripe with history and we are the fifth owners in 122 years, I intend to leave here feet first.
We love everything about our home; even I "don't build them like they used to", but Victorian restorations are one my passions and a fare bit of my business so I know this old house inside and out.
The barn was the first structure built on the property but not the first thing that was built. The first thing was the workbench and then a ladder and I have both of them and still to this day use them on a regular basis.
Anyway I think you get the jist of it WE LOVE OUR HOME and some day I will have some time to revitalize the old barn and turn it into my office and studio. Until then I'll keep the tarp on the roof and the water out.

Oh ya. The reason for the title. My youngest son Isaac ( Day 3 ) and I were off in Montreal filming in a movie for 10 weeks at Christmas time 2006 and my employees decided to clean and orginize the shop and all things in it, when they came across the Santa Stop Here sign and put it in the window for Isaac to see when we got home on the 23rd of December.
We were both homesick and it was the first thing we saw when we got out of the limo.

Isaac asked if I would leave it in the window until i replace it with a new one and at the rate that I have to work on my own stuff it could be there to greet our grandchildren.

the angle is great, could've done with a little dodging on the windowsils perhaps.

Neat angle! I almost kind of would like to see this at a different angle (not sure which angle), but as a fill frame shot just b/c of all the neat textures & stuff! Neat shot though, I'm diggin' it!

The perspective is fantastic. It does look a bit eerie with the dark tones which definately makes the picture.

If Santa stops here I think he'll get slashed in the shower! Spooky looking picture.
