Random error - I took this by accident - I was focusing on the prow of the boat (the pointy front) when my daughter (who was behind me) fell and started crying. I turned to look and still snapped and, well, here it is, a bit abstract, but I like it.

interesting shot. I like the BG the most. The black verses the gray on either side of the pipe(?). Good stuff!

Lucky and good. Doesn't get much better than that.

Too funny - I hope your daughter was ok. It might be interesting to crop the top a little and get the bar to go from corner to corner. Nice detail and tones!

A strong composition with wonderful tones and detail. Sometimes "accidents" are serendipitous.

Very funny story to go along with this interesting composition! That 85 1.8 is a great lens huh? Anyway, I realize you didn't "think" about this when you took it but I think if the knot in the foreground was in focus it would have been better. I really love the stong diagnonal created by the side of the boat and the simplistic composition. It is a very pleasing composition to me and the story makes it that much better.
