wore a black glove holding lit candle, placed my hand so it lined up with my face shadow, and snapped about a hundred shots. Cropped, Blurred, Saturated, Curves adjusted, Hues tinted in PS.

This is such a good idea.
A somewhat blurry shadow is the only thing I see that hurt this photo.

Well done. Too bad you couldn't have had a slight breeze blowing the flame sidways. Creative and well executed idea.

Nice idea behind this. It looks as if the shadow is supposed to be blowing at the candle (don't know if this was the intention). I know this was time challenge but perhaps if the candle flickered or was blown out with smoke trailing.

Good setup, nice shot. Maybe a breeze from an assistant to make the candle flame lean away from shadow?

If the flame showed signs of being blown on I would have given it 2 more points, but I do like the concept.
