Why did you add a border to this image? I don't know what that person below is commenting about the border being uneven hummm...its the type of border you gave it make it look uneven. The color is off and it throw you when viewing even just the snow. I figure from the color it was sunset but hey you have a white balance on your camera your using a canon 10D and if you changed it for balance it would have been a lot better. The visual awkwardness geometrically comes in from the upper right hand side of the image with the semi blurred rose bud attracting a lot of attention not to mention the negative space of white. Well good try thanks for making the image.

If your border was even, this would be a VERY nice shot. However, it immediatly took my eye away from the shot.

| A lot going on in the image I think you have acheived shallow DOF but the white of the snow seems a bit a the bright side |

| I like the lacy texture of the ice against the almost leathery texture of the leaf. The out-of-focus background sets the central subject off well. |

| Very vibrant colors! The focus may be just a little too shallow; it would be nice to get that entire patch of snow in focus. But this is still a very lovely photo. Composition and lines are very nicely used. |

| I'd be curious to see what time of day this photo was taken, the colors are unusual. Can't put my finger on what bothers me about it. Otherwise, nice subject and good composition. Well done. Good luck! |

| Has the DOF criteria, composition is ok. Contrast, sharpness, color, all appear to be a bit inordinate to me. |

| Way too much sharpening, you can see a halo around the berries. Nice subject, and nice DOF. Although it looks a bit like you made the shallow DOF with gaussian blur, rather than using photographic ways. Overall good |
