 Photographer’s Notes
My son-in-law races bicycles … on the track at the velodrome on Friday nights and off road at other times. This is fun to watch and hard to photograph.

I think I may get some negative comments about focus being to soft. It results from motion and shallow DOF. I think it contributes to a sense of motion. We'll see if folks agree.

Good, solid sports action image. I like the colors and lighting. I wish all four of the riders were in focus.

Well executed shot. A lower perspective would have helped show more of the intensity of the riders, but I still like it.

Nice action capture with good motion. The b/g is quite grainy - if it were cleaned up this would be a stunner.

much too noisy (probably due to oversaturation) and not what I would call "tack sharp"
