It's so small, it is hard to tell if the cardinal is in focus. |

This is very nice, I wish it were bigger so we could see more details of the bird though. |

You'll probably get lots of comments that this is too small. It is hard to see; but I like the composition and subject a lot. |

I can see the shallow dof even though the photo is too small. How much of the focused subject is in focus is hard to tell. |

No doubt you have been told its too small! Shame because this would have done much better if it was larger, never mind its all a learing curve here. Good luck |

Too small, a little dark and I can't tell if what's supposed to be in focus is in focus or not...

It would have been better if you made it larger. The DOF is nice though. |

Tis a wee small...the pic, not the birdie. |

I like the way you used shallow depth of field. I think the cardinal would be better if it were brightened up using curves or levels, even if that meant the background would go lighter. |

This looks like such a lovely shot, but it is posted so small it is very hard to see. Too bad because I think that will hurt this shot in voting |

Needs a little bit of work on the focus. |

This is a really great capture. I really like the use of shallow DOF here. I know from experience it can be difficult to get a 640 pixel-wide image and maintain sharpness, but you may find your scores will be higher if you include a larger photo size next time. Good luck with this one. It's very nice. |

Pity this picture isn't bigger. Can't see the DOF effect properly but looks a good effort. |
