Taken last weekend at my cottage. I decided to get creative with my camera Saturday night and just starting shooting in "bulb mode". Came home and looked at the challenge details and I think this photo I randomly snapped should fit to the challenge details.

For anyone viewing post challenge comments, I'm going to make my post statement now:

1) The green line in the lower left (that some "may" end up finding annoying) is the starboard side light of someones boat.
2) The line in the middle lower center, where the water is, that is the tip of my neighbours dock post.
3) Horizon level, its a lake, shore lines are not level and neither are tree lines. No attempt was made to fix it. :)

stuff I did:
levels
+ sat
+ lightness

thanks to all comments / criticism .. good or bad.

Nice deep blues and capture of the stars.

Beautiful. I like that you chose to have the sky take up almost the entire frame.

Very nice example of the closing of the day, love the turquoise strip of light in the bottom left hand corner

This is a very nice sunset shot. Just that the barrel distortion is kinda disturbing. I know this can't be prevented with such a wide angle shot, maybe slight clockwise rotation could make it more "balance". I really love the color. 9

Great shot, but it may be nicer to see the horizon 1/3 of the way up the frame. See Rule of Thirds (Wikipedia)

Very nice details in the sky. My eye keeps being drawn to the blue line at the bottom left corner, when I think the focus should be on the details in the sky. A different crop, or photoshop edit (after the challenge) could make this a little stronger. Nice shot.
