 This was taken with on the first day with my new telephoto lens. I'm quite pleased with the lens. It's not the best available, but seems quite good for the money. I'm sure that as I get more experience with it, I will get even better results.

PP: sharpened the birds face a little and boosted the contrast on the feathers a little.

Julianne, the balance of colors are so pretty! I love how the background colors are like an extension of the bird feathers. Very cool!

The clarity of the macaw is just stunning, and the colors of this are beautiful as well. My only critique (and its just personal preference) is maybe a different colored background, so that the macaw would stand out that much more, but that might not have been possible. Very lovely capture.

This is really lovely. The purple bokeh adds tremendously to the colors in the parrot. Plus his eye is tack-sharp. Great work. 8.
