It's so weird--I probably proofread this thing like 100 times and i never caught that extra "is" :D

First sentence is hard to understand because of "is" -- detracts from message of the photo.

I think positioning the rings further in and down a little would strengthen composition. Black and white works well as does harsh lighting.

I love the way the coil, holes, and shadows look on the left side.... But as for the entirety of the picture.... sorry...

looks a bit fabricated, but nice image... the "teardrops" definitelly add to the whole thing. I like it BUT... I just can't rate this higher than 8... I hope you understand.

"can't go through with this is"? unless i'm missing something, seems like a bit of a grammatical error. i think the picture might've come out slightly better if you had either torn off the piece on the very left, or used a type of notebook/composition that better complemented the rings (maybe just because i'm still in school - but the choice of notebook makes me think "student"). still, a good photograph with a nice use of lighting. the tear drops are a good thought, as well.

Ok, it´s very emotive. I´m drying my keybord. But it´s photograph. The texts apeal to other sensorial areas of the brain. A picture needs to be an universal language. Remaber this.

This is a well executed shot. I feel though that most of these sadness/parting shots in this challenge must be contrived (I hope so!). After a while I felt this does actually deprive the shot of the authenticity that I feel is part of photography. So I mark all such shots down 1 point equally - can't be fairer than that.

B&W works really well with this. The photo is very expressive. The tears and rings add a lot of emotion to it. Good luck...
