Took this shot where I attend school in Indiana. It was a brisk night. After a few takes I got this one and was pretty happy with it. There was some dirt on my lens so that is what those smudges are, hopefully you all like the shot overall.

This would be a great image. The subject should have been closer to the camera and the black bottom should be cropped.

Try applying the thirds rule.

Too centered, cropping differently would hugely improve it. Nice colors and crisp shapes.

I don't know why this makes me think of Charlie Brown?! But I like it!

POSITIVES:
Nice sky
Nice Colors

NEGATIVES:
The subject is to small. Closer to the subject allowing him/her to fill the frame a bit more would of been better.
Horizon line: In the middle of the picture it splits the photograph. I would have pulled it down to the bottom third. All that black area has no value and distracting.

Very nice placement of the figure in this - especially relating to how the grass seems to grow taller as one moves to the right of the picture.

You seem to have dust bunnies - in the upper left in the sky. While the best cure is to get rid of them, you can clone dust bunnies in basic (but only dust bunnies! If those are aliens, you have to leave them in the picture.)

your figure, if they were closer may have scored a little better and helped define the image more. I still like the shot though

Sky is a bit over exposed, and your subject is a bit small. Cropping would have worked well here.
