from the looks of it he swallowed it some time ago. ain't it strange, a tree with a piercing, very trendy ;-)
the wire is a bit blown, and I think this one could do with a smaller apperture. |

I'm not a fan of OOF foregrounds. I love the idea of the tree growing around the barb wire, and like the bark texture. |

Contrast looks good on my screen, might work better with all of the fence line in focus. |

Double leading lines. :) Fence to tree. Treebark to ???
I like the way you finished composing this with the angle of the fencing wire. Feels like something more should be in focus, just a little, along the wire? Hmmm.

Very nicely done.
Perhaps focusing better on where the wire enters the tree would further emphasize this key part of the image. |
