Our hibiscus bush went crazy and had six blooms on it today. I resized this, clarified it, smart photo fix, negative image and converted to gray scale. I thought it came out pretty nice for a flower.

I really like the editing! I too wish the leaves weren't there but sometimes not a whole lot you can do about it. As is I still think this is a really nice shot, I love the detail you got on its little stigma thing coming out of the middle (that's what I found it to be called by looking up on google anyway! lol)

No kidding. Interesting processing steps. I like what you have done. I love all the detail and really like how the negative worked here. Very creative idea. So much interest in this shot.

I love flowers and it looks great in the negative. You could probably crop out the little guys in the bottom and the stuff to the right but then you are left with just a flower.

Any suggestions? I loved the detail I got in this, but don't like the leaves on the right side. Not sure how I could crop this without losing at least part of the flower - but maybe that's not all bad (or maybe this just isn't fixable...)
