Nice shot, has a candid feel to it. Everything here works, I just wish it were a wider composition so I could see more of the environment the kid is in.

Oh the joys of being a kid! Definitely a nice candid.

Great candid moment. My only suggestion might be to crop it to the bottom of the beam in the upper right corner. The remaining horizontal shadow would act as a frame at the top, and there'd still be the the mystery of "what's at the end of the string?".

Beautiful image! Soooo...... much better than the shed shot! Great lighting and composition.... and I so want to know what happens when he pulls the string.

The innocence of youth creates great moments in our lives and all we have to do is be there to catch them. You have clearly done that with this one. Andrew looks delightfully mischevious and quite pleased with himself. Your DOF is spot on and the overall composition is wonderful.

Great shot.

MAX!

That is excellent. A wonderful moment. And the bokeh's great as well.

Priceless! What a great exposure. He's got a great expression, and the shot just leaves you (like him) dying to know what happens if he pulls the string... Excellent DOF. Excellent composition. I like this very, very much. 8 or 9 easily. Can't quit - the fact that Andrew's standing on the gate is subtle, but adds a lot to the shot.
