 Old office building. This wall is faced with a cheaper soft brick. The front has a much finer facing that didn't interest me as much. I don't know what they were using for paint before WWII but it seems to last forever. Not sure if the telephone exchange was covered up or if there only were 4 digits at this time.

Phone numbers used to be 4 digits - sometimes prefixed by a location, but then people started insisting on dialing numbers themself rather than use an operator. Love the lighting and textures in this shot.

I like this, don't know why? Perhaps it is because these old buildings and signs make me think about what they have seen. Maybe you should be checking out where you live and starting a series of buidlings? Nice one!

These old buildings and painted signs are sure interesting. Most are gone from around here but every time I pass one I can't help but look at it. I like how you composed it here to show some of the brick and windows. Color and texture and really nice and I like how the brick or paint is chipping off under the sign, although it's unfortunate they're fading away.

One of my favorite passtimes is going down alleys to look at the back sides of buildings -- so often they are more interesting that the front. I really like it that a couple of windows are open -- if only we could peek into them.

I like your diagonal composition here; makes for an interesting image with an old time feel. This would work well in B+W also.
