The tracks are about 3 or 4 blocks away. We don't really notice the trains that much. Sometimes it's cool to hear the whistles blowing in the distance though.

This is pretty much a mill town, lots of wood travels these rails.

Tracks, where do they go? Is there a train coming? This is what the challenge was all about. You would normally drive past these everyday and not even give them a second thought. Now, you will look and think everytime you pass by! Amazing what we dismiss from our lives! Good capture.

Very good DOF. I grew up in a logging town and the tracks went right through the middle of town.

the shallow DOF on this one is especially good - the blur of the background factory really adds a touch of reality to this one - i really like this
