This is the mosque here on base, its like this every day and I asked for time off work to go photograph it. I kind of wish the CH-53D's flew a little lower so you could see them better. It's a kind of 3 in 1 shot now that I look at it more. And those black dots you see in various parts of the image are some sort of bugs that got in the way.

Stunning colors. I love the helos coming in, it adds a whole nother dimension to this photo. The silhouette is perfect as is the rest of the photo. Brilliant!

Cory, WOW!!!!!!!!! You're going to make me want to go on vacation there if you keep this up! :) What a stunning photograph. I much prefer the score your commenters gave this than the one the average [dumb] user gave it tho!

Interesting duo's. Two towers, moons, birds, copters. Might just crop a little of the sky from the top, theres plenty of story in the lower end of the picture :)

Woot! Love the echo of the birds to the choppers. Great color gradation in the sky. This is a keeper. After the challenge, use the skew tool or whatever to "straighten" the minaret and make this a print.

well composed shot and clever title, leaves lots of room for interpretation... Especially like the two birds mirroring the Helis. Needs a slight boost in saturation. (If this is from Deb - don't self-DQ)
