 I went down the road towards a county park. I took pictures of some flowers along the way but I was in a hurry and they didn't turn out so well. All of these were taken once I left the main road.

There's a road leading into the park and on the West side there's a large, landscaped yard with a pond. They have various flowers planted along the fence and I caught this one on my way in.

I love these kinds of flowers. The rich purple is awesome. And I love how the center is glowing.

What vibrant colors and yet a softness to keep the flower looking delicate. The white in the center really makes the flower seem to glow. I like this picture, would look good as a print. ;o)

Beautiful colors and composition. I love how the flower glows from the center. A little noisy and soft, but that could be your intent (or your lens!). Nice job.

Excellent composition - great way to show off this flower. A tad soft, but you may have intended that. If you get a chance to shoot it again, try underexposing a bit to really bring out the detail in the center.
