thank you everyone. haha i thought this shot would probably get last place, and i wasnt too close from being wrong. :P hahaha....but i really appreciate the comments.

it wasnt so noisy until i converted it to jpeg. i suppose it really killed it :\

yeah, the trees are boring, i hadnt planned on submitting anything but i happened to take a picture with SOMETHING silhoutted, so...haha. i never noticed how blurry it really is...it always looks better in the imaging programm and on the camera...

the colors i had to pump up (it looked more beautiful and brilliant in the sky believe it or not, but it captured it looking real grey and dull when the sky was actually pink and purplish....)...but behind the trees theres some purple stuff i didnt want but couldnt get rid of...oh well! (and yeah, i think i did have the ISO too high, 1600 i think...eeep)

thank you everyone for your time and your help, its much appreciated. hopefully one day i'll submit something better, haha. :)

I noticed your comments about being new, take advantage of the tutorials in the learning section they can really help. There is also a program out there which can help with the noise (grainy look) called neat image, there is a free version you can get which will help noisy images like this alot. Good luck and have fun.

Nice double rainbow, but, sorry, too much noise for me.

I might recommened a noise reducing application to get rid of the distracting grain. Maybe your ISO was set too high for a still life scene?

Your shot is grainy and blown out on my monitor. It lacks deffinition and focus even in silhouette. It was anice try at something different.

Very hard to capture a great rainbow but you did a good job. Unfortunately I must just your photograph on how well you captured you subject (silhouette). You silhouette are the threes which, IMO, are not exciting. They do a good job of framing the sky. I feel the color of the sky is not natural and has excessive noise.

Rainbows are difficult to capture and this is a nice double one... the grain in this shot may be intentional and if so fine... but your entry might do better if you had removed the noise...

good idea - lower your ISO and use a tripod to avoid the digital noise in dark pictures.

Too noisy/grainy, and a bit soft focused. Nice double rainbow none the less.
